Kellyanne Conway Defends Houston Flood Victim Who Cursed Out CNN Reporter

A mother displaced by the tragic flooding in Houston, Texas, was interviewed by a CNN reporter as she settled into a shelter. She didn’t appreciate being questioned.

“Y’all trying to interview people during their worst times,” Danielle said surrounded by her two children. “Like, that’s not the smartest thing to do.”

CNN has never been accused of excessive intelligence.

That may have been the nicest choice of words Danielle had for the network. Clearly fed up, she unleashed a string of profanities, frustrated with reporter Rosa Flores for sticking a microphone in her face as she tries to grasp the gravity of her family’s situation.

“People are really breaking down and y’all sitting here with cameras and microphones trying to ask us what the f*** is wrong with us,” Danielle fumed. “And you really trying to understand with the microphone still in my face!

“With me shivering cold, with my kids wet!” she continued. “And you’re still putting a microphone in my face!”

A distraught Houston mother tore into a CNN reporter during a live interview — blasting the woman for putting a microphone in her face just moments after she arrived at a shelter with her two young children.

“Y’all trying to interview people during their worst times. Like, that’s not the smartest thing to do,” the shaken up parent, identified only as Danielle, told reporter Rosa Flores.

The interview happened a little before 1 p.m. central time at a shelter in Houston. Flores appeared to approach the woman at random just after she arrived there with her kids.

If that wasn’t bad enough, White House aide Kellyanne Conway responded to the interview by taking a shot at CNN.

CNN’s media correspondent Brian Stelter defended Flores saying, “Our reporter handled the situation graciously.”
