Charlie Daniels Just DESTROYED Obama On Gun Control

Charlie Daniels

Country music legend Charlie Daniels has stated publicly that he believes President Obama “wants nothing less than total disarmament of this nation.”

He has warned Americans that the President will go to any lengths to achieve this goal.

“Every nation that has ever been taken over by an overreaching, oppressive government has first been disarmed,” Daniels warned.

So it’s little surprise that as the President announces more executive orders to alter current laws in our country without congressional approval, Daniels has been quick to respond.

Obama, in announcing his executive orders, has said he is very concerned about criminals being able to get their hands on guns.

“It’s not going to prevent every mass shooting, it’s not going to keep every gun out of the hands of a criminal,” Obama said of his executive orders, but “it will potentially save lives.”

Daniels tweeted in response:

A report this past summer from the Heritage Foundation’s Hans von Spakovsky indicates that well over 65,000 criminals had been released by the Obama administration due to lapses in their deportation hearings, and 134,000 criminals released in all.

According to the report, many of those released had been convicted of “dangerous drugs, assault and domestic violence, stolen vehicles, robbery, sex offenses, sexual assault, kidnaping, voluntary manslaughter, and even homicide.”

In other words, not people likely to follow gun laws – either prior to today, or after Obama’s gun control edict.

Perhaps Daniels’ best response was reserved for Congress, who has allowed the President to continually govern like a king with his executive actions.

They’ve not been interested in stopping an out of control President in the past. What will be different this time?
