Just five days after the deadly Islamic terrorist attack in Orlando, Florida, we’re learning about another shooting today!
Two teens have been shot dead in a front yard of a house in the Orlando area. Police were called to the house as shorts were being fired at 10:45pm last night and this morning:
When officers arrived, they found the pair, aged 16 and 18, lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds.
The teens, who have not yet been identified by police, were rushed to Florida Hospital South where they both died from their injuries, WESH2 reports.
Witnesses told police that they saw a dark-colored vehicle driving away from the area in the aftermath of the shooting.
Police have not yet released a motive for the shooting, or named a suspect. No further details have been released.
The shooting comes just days after two high-profile shootings in the city of Orlando, the first being the fatal shooting of pop singer Christina Grimmie last Saturday.
Grimmie was signing autographs at around 10.30pm following a concert at The Plaza Live when deranged fan Kevin Loibl approached and opened fire.
