It wasn’t supposed to end that way. Country music fans everywhere assumed the talented Joey+Rory would be celebrating in an Indiana hospice as they won a Grammy Award.
The held each other as the winner was announced and their daughter Indiana watched with them. However, Little Big Town’s hit single “Girl Crush” was too popular… And it won for Best Country Duo/Group instead.
Fans reacted instantly to Joey+Rory missing their final chance for a Grammy…
They should have won. They should have won… #JoeyandRory

I love Little Big Town but I am so upset Joey and Rory didn’t win. I blame country radio.

I’m so sad about the lack of Grammys win for @joeyandrory. They won’t get another chance, come on… 🙁

However, while fans reacted, Joey+Rory knows there are more important things in this world. They love each other and are enjoying each other’s company… That’s why every day is a blessing.
Their amazing music has already been recognized by the world, which is why they shared this on Instagram. Incredible!
